So...
favorite song in the world--what's yours?
Mine is "Nothing at all" By Lindi Ortega. She's a little canadian girl with a fabulous fabulous, out of this world, angelic, yet vampiresque (the sexy kind) voice.
I first heard the song my senior year of high school. I grew to obsess over it. Sadly, it was nowhere on itunes or frostwire to be found. The only place it could be heard was on her myspace site. The day came, (I'm guestimating sometime in 2007) when she took "Nothing at all" off of her playlist and replaced it with other songs-- none of which blew me away like "Nothing at all" did.
I remember Jennifer Gilbert saying, "What is this? China man music?"
Every month or so I google it and try to find it somewhere, anywhere, just to hear it once more. It is NOWHERE to be found.
I will give my first million dollars to whomever finds it for me!
swear.
Ok, your turn.
You can only pick ONE!
(I did. I totally didn't tell you about all my runner ups which are all soooo good.)
Come rest your weary head
Here on my pillow
Come lay down on my bed
Let me hold you until tomorrow
I know it hurts
I know how hard you fall
It could be worse
You could be feeling nothing at all
You've been crying for so long
That you drown in your own river
And although the winter's gone
I can still, I can still feel you shiver
I know it hurts
I know how hard you fall
It could be worse
You could be feeling nothing at all
