Music for a Rainy Day

P90X

William and I are doing P90X, and uncle Tony (I call him uncle Tony) is kicking our butts!! We are on week 4, woo hoo!

My favorite thing about the workouts are the protein shakes we make right after, so good!

1 cup blueberries

1 cup strawberries

2 cups of milk

2 scoops of protein

8 cubes of ice

and wah-lah an amazing stinking shake!! mmm

Harrison going on his Mission

My brother Harrison is leaving for the MTC this next Wednesday!! I'm so sad but so happy at the same time, I'm going to miss him so much! And as you can see he is going to Australia mate!!

And here is a picture of him with Kendal, Harrison had just gone through the Temple for the first time. :) Sorry Harrison, I know you didn't like this picture of you, but I think it's cute.

I know he is going to be a great Missionary, and I hope he comes back with an accent! Oh that would be so cute!

Well Harry we are all going to miss your kindness and sense of humor, Love you!!

I have the greatest friends.
And I am so undeserving of them all.
I hardly ever call. I hardly ever visit.
I hardly ever "check-in" to see how they are doing or if they need anything.
And despite all of my embarrassing inadequacies, they're still here.

A. It's awesome.

B. I have got to get my act together.

I Passed!

On Friday, August 5th, I went "up north" (San Juan County jive for anywhere in the Provo/Salt Lake valley) to take my state board "practical nursing" exam. Preparing for this test was so very stressful. I studied for hours each day this summer and yet still, I walked out of the testing center in tears--110% sure I had failed.
Well, I was 110% wrong!! :) I'm so happy to say I am officially a "Licensed Practical Nurse".

This isn't the end though. I'm still in school and hopefully this time next year, I will be a "Registered Nurse" (and oh how I am dreading that exam!!). But becoming an LPN is still a big milestone that I am very proud of!
